Over the past few months, we’ve been highlighting the women who make Greenville Boudoir stand out from the rest. So far, you’ve met Latoya, Essie, The Stylette and now Kiara!

With a background in makeup artistry and a licensed esthetician, Kiara, which many refer to as Key, brings light and joy wherever she goes. And her talent in makeup and beauty goes without question.

“Ultimately, I see myself using my skills to encourage women to feel free and beautiful,” says Kiara, “I’ve always envisioned myself in the beauty industry whether that was hair, nails, or makeup, but in the end makeup spoke to me.”

Growing up, a hardworking family living in Miami surrounded Kiara. By watching those around her, she wanted to work hard in an industry that lit her soul on fire. “Of course, I thought my journey in makeup would develop in Miami, but eventually I moved to Greenville in my junior year of high school and spent my adult years meeting new people, clients, and making friends in the Upstate.”

No matter the client, Kiara found her passion making others feel like the best versions of themselves. The reaction she receives when her clients look in the mirror keeps her going day in and day out. “I just love watching their faces - it means everything to me.”

Through many obstacles over the years, Kiara has stayed strong in the face of adversity to become who she is today. “It’s honestly inspiring to see myself doing the things I used to pray for.” As she focuses on her clients, she hopes they feel amazing about themselves and thoroughly enjoy their time with her. “You know, I hope they’re able to feel my energy and enjoy it. That makes all the difference.”
